Anne Hathaway literally looks like a female joker in this movie lol. Definitely, A Series of Unfortunate Events. Not exactly horrific just kept me on edge and fearful. But The Witches takes the cake😣. The original is a magical piece of work This looks ridiculous. So none of the useful history of marvel, where everything happened, all the heroes and stories were created, and a universe was built? Instead they're concentrating on the people who were handed that universe and have destroyed marvel comics over the past 20 years. Well, hopefully young people see this and actually start going to LCSs and buying physical copies of comics again, but given current sales and issue quality it seems unlikely. Ehhhhh, The original movie gave me chills and actually frightened me. The witches were all ugly and hideous when they removed their disguises. And was incredibly dark. They should have went in a different direction. It's too whimsy and not dark enough.

 

I remember I was really scared after watching the original one back in the day as a kid. If this is supposed to sell something I'm afraid it failed. I was excited for a second thinking it was Gaga. Now I know who it is, I'll pass. When i saw this for the first time i had nightmares for ages. Next it will be Lil' Matilda. Yesss, a movie adaptation of what is probably one of my favorite Ronald Dahl books ever.

The original witches was like a Stephen King movie for kids but this one just looks bad. When Eva threatens Helga in the dining room, does this mean Eva has put two and two together and realised Helga was involved in turning her witches into mice. Wait till the Xmen vs Avengers is on the big screen and then Marvel will forever be in remembered the history of this Humanity 's entertainment world. The original is actually a pretty scary movie. The mouse scenes are cute as hell. The computer shit is blah. Maybe I'll watch it.
